To All Associations:
The Counties Manukau C & D grade Open is once again being held at the Ray Phillips Badminton Hall 42 Elliot Street Papakura, we have had great success with this tournament in the past, we appreciate all the help you give us in promoting this with your members.
We are hoping this year we can get more D graders to enter the tournament, numbers always seem low from outside the association so we are hoping that you can help us to generate some interest from your D grade players too. Its a fun competition, they play people who are also D graders from other associations around the North Island, all the finalists stay to collect their prizes upstairs in the bar after play finishes, we encourage you to stay and enjoy the social side of this fun day.
If there are players who cant find partners please just get them to submit an entry with player required as in past years we have always been able to find most people a partner.
We look forward to seeing all of you who entered last year and hope you will all spread the word so that some new faces also appear. We also promise not to be as late as last year, depending on numbers we may not run some plate rounds to ensure you are not still on the court past bedtime.
