We are currently very short of line judges for the NZ Open, particularly on Wed 10th, Thursday 11th and Friday 12th April
The times we require people are:
Wednesday – 8.15am (at the venue) – approx.. 4.30pm. 5pm – approx.. 10pm
Thursday and Friday – 9.15am (at the venue) – 2pm. 2pm – 6pm. 5.30pm – 10pm
All volunteers will receive a shirt – if they do at least 3 sessions they can keep it, and meals while working.
They can use tournament transport from Skycity to the NSEC if they wish.
Full information is on the tournament website.
We require a minimum of 4 line judges per court per match – considering breaks etc I need at least 24 per session
The Referee, who is from Sri Lanka, has advised me that he will not allow matches to start until we have 4 line judges.
There is a line judge training/refresher course next Saturday (23rd) as part of the NZ National Championships at North Harbour. Ian Williamson who is the line judge co-ordinator is taking this session – 9.30am – 12noon at North Harbour.
We have a fantastic entry so there will be some great games. 277 players from 21 countries.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Julie Carrel
